GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past 8 years, this idea has grown
into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.

At a time when we’re all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths and
political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others
and is a fundamental value anyone can act one.

You can show your generosity in a variety of ways during GivingTuesday - whether it’s helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes, everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts.

This year, consider these 5 ways to give at All Shepherds.

Give Time.

You can volunteer for one of our ministry teams. You can sign up to be an usher or worship assistant at one of our services. Volunteer to teach a virtual Sunday School lesson. Or, join the team who sanitizes the sanctuary after Sunday services. Help the Facilities team take care of the grounds, paint and organize the Sunday School rooms. Join the Encouraging Ministry’s greeting card, meal or calling team.

Give Voice.

Join the Shepherds Choir. Serve as a reader during worship. Serve on Church Council as a voice of the congregation. Become a member of the Prayer Team. Help start up and run a monthly Zoom Sunday School for our elementary students. Participate in our racial dialogue discussion or start a discussion group of your own on important social issues.

Give Money.

Give to All Shepherds financially to help us expand our ministry and outreach. You can send checks to the church office or set up electronic payments through Tithe.ly or Vanco. You can also make a Tithe.ly contribution online by visiting http://www.allshepherds.org/electronic-giving. Together, we will ensure our future.

Give Skills or Goods.

The All Shepherds Serving Ministry coordinates various collections of items for people in need, including food, school supplies,
Christmas gifts, items for military personnel and more. You can also take part in hands-on service throughout our community throughout per year. And we’re always looking for special skills, especially in our Communications Ministry. Graphic designers, web designers, video and technology gurus all have opportunities to serve.
