COMMUNION:There are two options for Holy Communion during all 3 worship services - in person distribution at the altar and individual communion at your seats.

 

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS

In accordance with CDC guidance & Delaware Public Health, please remember:

  • Masks are recommended for those who are not fully vaccinated, including children. Masks are encouraged for those fully vaccinated while in large groups and unable to social distance.

  • We will continue to leave the Hepa filters run on Sunday mornings to circulate the air in the sanctuary.

  • We will again start using the desanitizing spray before and after worship this week.

  • The staff will wear their masks when not directly leading worship.

  • Communion assistants will wear masks while celebrating Eucharist and distributing it.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS - Our children's church attendance is growing! With that, I am looking for volunteers to come help during children’s church. Anyone aged 6th grade through grandparents can sign up! Please reach out to me at childrensministry@allshepherds.org text 614-330-0046, or grab me in the hall at church to sign up!

CALLING ALL STORY LOVERS! - We are in need of Sunday School volunteers, specifically for reading the story! If you love kids and love to read, please let me know if I can add you to the rotation! It’s a 10 minute commitment, around once a month (if that!) and we send you everything you need ahead of time!

SERVING

FAMILY PROMISE - is a leading non-profit addressing family homelessness, providing homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, workforce development and educational opportunities. ASLC is partnering with St. Mark’s and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to prepare and deliver meals to the residents of the Family Promise shelter in Delaware. Interested in providing a meal? There are 25-40 residents at the shelter at any time. Meals consist of a main dish, vegetable/side dish and dessert. St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Lewis Center is sponsoring a family through the Samaritan’s Purse resettlement program and they are in need of housing. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY APOSTLE'S BUILD
The Apostle's Build Habitat for Humanity house is now underway at 212 E Winter Street in Delaware, with many Delaware County churches volunteering on site. If interested, please contact Cathy Eckhardt, ceckhardt2@gmail.com for more information. Volunteers are expected to do a short orientation online https://habitatdelawareunion.volunteerhub.com/#_=_, and then sign up in advance to manage numbers under COVID.

PARENTS OF COLLEGE STUDENTS - We want your college kids to remember that we love them and pray for them! The Encouraging MInistry plans to send a Lenten care package to our ASLC college students---if we can find them! Please email your students' name, address, email and phone number (so we can text them to check their mailbox) to encouraging@allshepherds.org.
