Children’s Faith Formation with Pastor Wendy
Baptism Classes - A class is available with Pastor Wendy for anyone wishing to be baptized or have their child baptized.
Communion Classes Each Fall, children in 3rd grade and up can attend our 5 week Communion instruction. This class is encouraged for all children who have taken Communion since infancy as well as those wanting to receive first Communion. Children in 2nd grade are welcome to attend with a parent.
Pre Confirmation Bible Study For any 5th graders and older desiring to enter Confirmation. This 5 week class in the Spring focuses on the overview of the Bible and building community. Students receive a Bible from the congregation that will be used in Confirmation.
Confirmation is a 3 year program typically for 6th, 7th and 8th graders to instruct them on what it means to be a baptized Christian. We meet two Sunday evenings a month, from 5 to 7pm during the school year along with special projects through out the year.
Sunday School
We are changing the way we do Sunday School! This year we will have stations for Sunday School, rather than staying in one classroom for the hour. (Our pre schoolers will not rotate) We need volunteers for each Sunday. If you would like to help, please click here. Descriptions of each station are in the Sign Up.
Sunday school is a very important ministry for our church. We have opportunities for all ages.
Nursery is available for children from birth to 2 years old during our Sunday school time.
Our Sunday school programs for those age 3 - High School begins on Rally Day on the 2nd Sunday of September and runs through Mother's day on the second Sunday of May. For a more complete schedule please check out our Sunday school calendar here.
Sunday school begins at 10:30am in our large Sunday school room with opening music and prayer for children age 3-5th grade. It concludes at 11:15am in your child's assigned classroom.
PRESCHOOL Students (age 3 -5) - then go to room for their morning class with their teacher.
ELEMENTARY students will participate in a station rotation that follows our scripture with story time, crafts and activities.
MIDDLE SCHOOL students meet in room 12 for opportuntiy to strengthen their Bible understanding and knowledge through discussions, games and community.
HIGH SCHOOL students meet in the alcove of the gathering space for a lively discussion that takes the Bible and church teachings and relates these fundamental principals of our faith to real life, real world topics.

The Seekers Each Sunday we will be studying Luke. No home work this year so as the commercial says "Try it, you'll like it."
