All Shepherds Pig Roast

Mark Your Calendars——The Fellowship Committee is making plans for our 9th Annual Church Picnic / Pig Roast.

Date:  Sunday, September 11

Time:  Feast and Fun starts at 12 noon

Tickets:  $5 per person or $15 per family.  On sale between worship services at the Welcome Center.  Checks should be made out to Sandy Meyer.

Each family is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to serve 12. Everything else will be provided.

This year’s event will be even BIGGER AND BETTER than ever, and is OPEN to All including everyone in Lewis Center/Powell/Central Ohio Communities. Heck, even if you are not from around here, come and join us for lots of food, fun and sunshine :

We slow roast and cook our own pulled pork.  We use a time-tested ‘secret recipe’ to make the fresh pork super yummy and tasty.  Have no fear for little ones – all of this preparation is done overnight behind closed doors in a secret location on our church campus.

This year, for the first time, we have the very popular bluegrass band, “Loosely Strung” to entertain us.

In addition, we are having lots of games, activities and rides, including:

Pony rides, Pony cart rides, playdoh tables, water slides, bounce house, tee time and more.

And of course the Corn Hole Games.  The challengers, Team 2, think they are unbeatable.  Is this true?   Come and test your corn hole skills, maybe you will be the new winner!

All you need to do is buy tickets either in advance at church or at the Pig Roast.  Of course, we would love to have any volunteer help we can get to help with this year’s Pig Roast!  Either sign up in advance at church or offer your help at the event.

Don’t forget to bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on.
